Working Group Led by Head of the Market Surveillance Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia Armen Kotolyan Paid an Official Visit to the Hellenic Republic

Working group led by Armen Kotolyan, Head of the Market Surveillance Inspection Body of the RA, was in Athens, the capital of Greece, from December 2 to 6, 2024, at the invitation of the General Secretariat of Industry under the Ministry of Development of the Hellenic Republic.
Representatives of the Market Surveillance Inspection Body presented to partners the functions, areas of supervision, goals, and objectives of the Inspectorate, as well as the tools and innovative approaches used in Market Surveillance.
The host side, in turn, provided an overview of the main functions of Market Surveillance in the Hellenic Republic, the tools applied, and the programs aimed at planned reforms.
An agreement has been reached on further cooperation, strengthening ties with the Market Surveillance Directorate of the Hellenic Republic, as well as on conducting ongoing mutual study visits in the future.
Importance of international cooperation in the development of surveillance tools, enhancing effectiveness, and implementing systems aimed at reforms was highlighted from both sides.
